SWEET PASTRY »HEARTS«
INGRIDIENTS:
Dough:
1 egg
50 g sugar
pinch of salt
50 g melted butter
125 g warm milk
60 g warm water
380 g flour
1 1/2 tbsp dry yeast
Filling:
30 g soft butter
30 g sugar
DIRECTIONS:
- Combine egg, sugar and salt with a whisk.
- Mix in melted butter, warm milk and water.
- Add in flour and yeast. Knead until a dough forms.
- Cover and let rise for 1-2 hours.
- Divide into equal pieces, approximately 80 g each.
- Roll out and spread a thin layer of soft butter followed by some sugar.
- Roll up and cut & form the buns like shown on the photos.
- Cover and let rise 30 minutes.
- Brush with egg wash.
- Bake at 170 C for 30 minutes.
